BBRAeNEWS No.421 - Dengue Hot spots in Bandar Botanic.
The following was noted in today"s The Star Newspapers which identify Bandar Botanic as one of the Dengue hotspots in Klang.

Dengue hotspots identified in Klang
MORE than a dozen locations here have been identified as denguehotspots by the Klang Municipal Council (MPK).
They are Pulau Ketam, Bandar Armada Putra, Pekan Pandamaran, Pandamaran Jaya, Taman Bayu Perdana, Pangsapuri Palma, Bandar Botanik, Taman Sentosa, Pangsapuri Prima Bayu, Kondominium Bandar Baru Klang, Taman Eng Ann, Taman Klang Utama and Taman Bayu Meru.
MPK communications and public complaints director Norfiza Mahfiz said two deaths due to dengue was recorded last year in Batu Belah and Taman Bayu Perdana.
She said the unpredictable weather patterns had contributed to increased breeding of Aedes mosquitoes.
She called on residents to maintain the cleanliness of their homes and surrounding areas to combat the problem.
“MPK continuously conducts fogging at these locations and conducts checks on sites such as shoplots, construction sites, schools and factories,” she said.
Meanwhile, MPK acting president Ehsan Mukri said the installation of the Express Micro Bill Payment I-kiosk had reduced the queue of people paying their assessment taxes.
The I-kiosk located in the MPK building, operates round the clock and accepts payments in form of cash, cheques, credit cards and debit cards.
