BBRAeNEWS No.348 - MPK Councillor's visit to Botanic pond

Dear Residents,

It is time to show your support and lend your voices to our councillor, En Irwan (pic left) and his officers, when MPK tours the Angsana end to the Kiara end of the Botanic pond next Monday, 17 May 2010, at 9:30am.

For many of you have sent e-mails to our councillor, this is the time to walk the talk. Yes, it would be perfect if it was on a Sunday, after breakfast or just after the afternoon nap at 4pm. Or maybe it would be perfect if the visit was at 6:30pm, after our favourite drama.

But please bear in mind, opportunity does not come knocking on the door every day. The choice is yours.

In preparation for MPK councilors visit to our retention pond (lake) this coming Monday to see the filth, dirtiness, pollution, stagnation and foul smell, our TMO had over the past 2 days send in their workers to clean up the retention pond and immediately transport the waste collection away. Syabas TMO. Lets give credit when credit is due. For whatever it is worth, it only proves that when BBRA is proactive and the residents are supportive, collectively we can get TMO to be more responsive to our grouses. Lets all try to avail some of our time and turn up to tell the councilors on other problems affecting the general cleanliness and maintenance of the retention pond, in particularly the unsuitable replacement pump between P2 and P4, and the total lack of pumps in P6 lake area. See you.
