Dear Ganesh,

We could not agree more. What we could collect we picked up that very evening but unfortunately, some plastic bottles, plastic bags, etc ended up in the pond.

We have taken note of this including other short-comings of the event for a post-mortem session with the organiser.

The MC of the event of the event was heard telling a number of times to the participants, to keep the place clean. Yet at the end of the day, there are lots of rubbish around the padang.

I learn that most Malaysian must throw rubbish everywhere except to the right place.
Didn't we learn from our teacher in primary school that we should not simply throw rubbish to keep the country clean. For me, the message is still hold strongly in my mind.

On the organiser part, temporary rubbish bins/plastics should be placed at various spots to ease our lazy footballers to throw their rubbish.

Sigh.....

just wanted to say that the padang has been cleaned up. it's not just the footballers. the basket ball court area is just as bad.
if we want to be proud of this place we call home then all of us must do our part.
a lot of us blame the outsiders who frequent the park and it's environs for the rubbish and damage but i wager that's not entirely true.
think about it.

yes, agree. The basketball/badminton courts are just as bad even-though the rubbish bins are just few steps away.

yes, i used to be going to the padang with a picker and plastic bags to pick the rubbish. however, i am discouraged each time I went back to the place and found lots of wrappers, plastic bottles and etc rubbish. they are all young adults/matured adults, all races of Malaysian.

If majority of people here think like us, this will be small problem. But I do not think the majority is with us.

Have a nice day.
