BBRAeNews No.47 - A Mummified Grass-Cutter.

BBRA’s A Moment to Ponder.
To Kawalan Keselamatan Sentral Security Guard, MPK, TMO and Residents,

“Let No One Say the past is dead, the Past is all about us and within. Let us rediscover that our strength lives in living our ideals, not talking about them.”-Barrack Obama.

Are We UnAware Of What Is Really Going On Around Us? If yes, we are, then we are really allowing dangers to lurks freely around us.
A Mummified Grass Cutter. Corpse-like, and all covered up. Is he a genuine or fake grass-cutter? Is he from the MPK? Is he from TMO? No one knows. The Kawalan Keselamatan Sentral Security guards must take down his Identity Card Number since he is in the Bandar Botanic. I happen to notice one such mummified grass cutter cycling from house to house from Angsana to Jenaris and Kiara and then cycle across the Botanic Lakes via the Bridge and Pathway and goes to the Southern side of the lake.
The first 2 photographs shows the mummified grass cutter in blue overall. The 3rd photograph probably show the genuine grass cutter employed by MPK. He is more 'open' and not fully covered up like the first grasscutter. He is also dressed in Orange, so that residents can easily identify him as genuine.
Dear residents, dont you think all outside workers should not be fully 'covered up - at least around the face ? ...This is an area with fresh air. Why must they covered up? ....Should the MPK gives each of their Grass-Cutters or workers a Name Card Tag? It would be proper don't you think so? Please give your opinions or comments by logging into this blog.

"When there are givers, there will be takers" Heard this phase before?

If residents who give jobs to these "mummified grass cutters" have the common decency to tell the grass cutters to attire properly, the problem is solved. Most of them are foreigners and are in need of the business, thus more than willing to co-operate.

The penalty for engaging an illegal, even just to cut grass, is RM50,000 maximum or a jail term or both. Better to check than be sorry later.

I understand MPK contract out the grass cutting job and those in the photos could be employed by the contractors. BBRA should enquire with MPK and BB Township on the proper attire of their appointed grass cutters.

Residents should be more concern on the security problem that may arise out of these Rambo characters as the grass cutting machine can be a threatening weapon if one of these characters roaming our neighbourhood was to change his occupation.
