BBRAeNews No.41 - BBRA's A Moment To Ponder.

BBRA'S A Moment to Ponder.
To MPK, Residents and Outsiders,

"Let No One Say the past is dead, the Past is all about us and within. Let us rediscover that our strength lives in living our ideals, not talking about them,"-Barrack Obama.
Are We Creating Our Own Dead lakes? Yes, we are, if we destroy the Ecological System in our Botanical Lakes.
The goal of this blog is also to bring Awareness to all residents of what is actually happening or had already happened. Some of the pictures may seems ruthless. But can each and everyone of us gives a Ponder of a Moment?

What will happen when the rubbish, liquor bottles, etc thrown about will fall into the lake and will be trapped amongst the algae and weeds?... It will then be difficult to salvage out by ordinary means. This is the work of outsiders! Do you welcome outsiders then? What is your opinion? Maybe the MPK should place more Sign-boards? Maybe they should enforced it with a fine? Do you have a solutions? Kindly leave a comment under this blog.

The Authorities, MPK or Police will drag their feet and there will be no action taken. Bandar Botanic residents must take own action. Having said that, most residents will not want to be involved and leave the work to those who want to do something. If you are too timid, then give some contributions to a fund for hiring tough people to do the vigilante work. I volunteer RM100, so who is doing the collection and the hiring. Hehehe ...beat them up

If residents hire guards to do surveillance work at RM40 per month, why not pay some extra money for extra work ... like taking actions against the bad boys who come into our surroundings to damage our properties. Extra work should include beating the shit out of these men before handing them over to the Police.

Honestly more can be done by the guards and BB township in general. The latter always say that they have passed the ball to MPK, so it's their fault if the place is dirty, vandalised, etc.

Places like the park and lake should have more restriction like having criss-cross barriers at every possible entrance to jogging tracks to prevent motorcycles from entering. There can also be speed bumps that will hinder the speed of motorcycles. More dustbins, disclaimers can be put in place to remind ALL visitors on keeping the park clean.

At the moment, the owners of BB is only keen on sales, and that's the big difference between a good developer and a great one. BB may be good with all its bright ideas, nice parks, lakes, etc, but it lacks the clinical thinking that will maintain and improve the area. Just look at the roads and why doesn't the round-about near Jusco have an easier way in and out for residents other than Ambang is a real no-brainer.

For now it is up to the residents to work towards improving their area. Of course this most be a concerted effort for it will improve their property value. Perhaps if vandalism and crime increases, the good people of BB can start a drive to turn parcels 1 to 6 into a fully gated community. Eventually, hopefully even the park can have some form of restriction like barring entry after 12 midnight.

There's a lot that can be done but more people need to get involved. Right now the bad apples are spoiling the whole bunch. There is no knowledge of who's the Rukun Tetangga members or if one even exists. Not many residents even know about the Residents Association for that matter. Township just handed the keys and out of the blue, a guard shows up demanding for RM40, for what and to guard what no one has a clue. Is there even a contract?
